Another popular name in the club circuit of Singapore, MR J, is one of this year's 6 contestants for Red Bull 3Style Singapore.
ADM: What do you look forward to now that Red Bull 3Style is in Singapore?
MRJ: I’m really looking forward to the finals because I will be around the greatest and talented DJs Singapore has ever had, who are also amongst my greatest friends in the scene.
ADM: Who's your inspiration in your DJing?
MRJ: I would say my 2 cats, Casper & Cookie
ADM: What's your take on Turntablism in DJing today?
MRJ: There are so many ways to perceive the term “Turntablism”. The art is so complex that there are no rights or wrongs. It is relatively subjective, yet it tells a story of a certain individual.
ADM: What was your favourite Red Bull 3Style Moment?
MRJ: Catching DJ Puffy live in a workshop held by Red Bull Singapore a few months back!
ADM: What can we look forward to seeing on the 23rd?
MRJ: Expect your jaws to be dropped with tricks up the finalists’ sleeves!
